Done in Procreate. I wanted to create a Japanese oni character that I can also find interesting to draw in the future. I originally used blues in the painting but switched to reds which is a more commonly used color for oni traditionally. For this piece, I was loose with my brushstrokes to prevent the painting from becoming too stiff and also experimented with textures.
